Here in my bunker located at the bottom of the big hill, I’m composing my annual notes on the year(!)  So far, I can safely say it’s been a year with some ups and downs.

We don’t have masses of news, everyone’s kept well.

Yvonne got a new job in July beating her retreat from her job at the Southern and taking a job up near Ayr.  I’m still at Stirling Council.  The flat was completely sorted out by January of this year, unfortunately we’ve got no chance of selling at the moment. Never mind, still got a roof over our head.  So no more damp, although we’ve had a fair amount of plumbing disasters to sort out.

There is one big news items - Yvonne is pregnant and we’ endured the usual  tests and so far everything seems to be OK - baby’s due in June ’09.
